UC has a brand kept fresh with the use of students on billboards, magazine ads and promotional materials. In the past, UC’s radio ads had remained unrelated to the rest of the advertising campaign. The Sitting Room was tasked with bringing the ads in to line with rest of UC’s marketing.
We suggested interviewing students about what they love about UC and distilling these down to a 10 – 15 second audio clip. We went on location to the university to capture students in their natural habitat. The result was a radio ad that felt very genuine, fresh and yet conveyed those important brand messages.
